LIVING WITHOUT CATASTROPHES
Savely Kashitsky, Moskovsky Komsomolets, January 19, 2001
SUMMARY:

Scientist Alexander Sinyakov of the St. Petersburg University of Air-Space Engineering says the Kursk found itself in a wrong place at the wrong time. Geophysical resonance is a key term of Sinyakov's concept. He believes that fluctuations of physical space in the place and at the moment of the explosion coincided with fluctuations of the atoms of hydrogen and steel and titanium alloys. Resonating, the hydrogen caused detonation in the torpedo compartment while steel and titanium lowered durability of the construction to such an extent that water was taken.
