Engineer of the Year contest was organized by the Academy of Engineering Sciences of the Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations. Aleksei Beresnev, the winner: The hull of the Kursk could have been cut at a faster rate than the divers could provide. It can be done with the help of hydrogen plasma.
