KURSK'S TORPEDOES REMOVED FROM ARSENAL

Russia's Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Ilya Klebanov has confirmed that the naval command decided to remove the type of torpedoes added to the armory of the NPS Kursk, which supposedly became a reason for the catastrophe of the Kursk. According to Klebanov, the torpedoes added to the arsenals of the Kursk were removed from the submarines as far back as 2000, whereas recently it has been decided to remove them from the arsenal of the Navy, Vremya Novostei reported.
