Gazeta.ru, July 12, 2002, 20:42

The work of eliminating missiles from the nuclear powered submarine Kursk's hull has been finished. Specialists of the Murmansk ship-repairing plant Nerpa have cut six combat and one dummy missile from the Kursk's hull together with containers in which they were stored. The missiles have been sent for dismantlement to a training site of the Northern Fleet, the plant's administration said. Now specialists of Nerpa will begin an operation of unloading nuclear fuel from the reactor.
